The Week That Was

Considering that the Islanders have decided not to run our Friday 2 Man show on their website anymore I can't remind you all to check out our segments. Whatever. I'd rather hang out with Bress at an Unkle Kracker concert than discuss this. Let's wrap up the week and get you all ready for Friday night.

Here's what you missed:

A 10-goal Buff beatdown

The Duck will stay mustachioed for a few more years

Commodore is insulting everyone

Hank Z proves superstardom is recession resistant

Forsberg won't come back

Sundin probably shouldn't have

Crosby is just fine

Bottom story of the year

Dow settled at 8,000 and our economy fell 3.8% this quarter. Oh, and that number will likely be revised down. At this pace John Tavares will be signed by the United States government to play on a line with AIG and Citi.

But you can worry about paying your mortgage on Monday because we crawled to the finish line this week and it's time to party. Get yourself to a bar tonight and to a Super Bowl party on Sunday. There are some solid Saturday afternoon games on and a great Boston/Montreal matchup on Sunday. I will be at the TD Garden to watch the Bruins face the Rangers and I've never seen the Bs beat New York in person. I have a feeling this could be the day.

DLo Brown will be out tonight. Let's get after it.

And if you have the Facebook we would encourage you to join OUR FACEBOOK GROUP so we can view your friends and sneak a peak at your pictures.

Cornelius, I will be shouting your name by section 307 on Saturday. I'll be in the black Bourque #77 with a double fisting blonde. I stand about 5'6 on a pair of Tacks and I'm a good 250lbs.

I'm leaving you with this YouTube beauty. Hard hats and lunchpails.

Stay salty

I sit at the railing behind the handicapped section, seat 4. They count from left to right, when you're looking up. I'll be wearing a bruins jersey, either new Thomas or previous gen Chara knockoff... Just yell Cornelius and I'll know where you are.

I'll have to watch some videos so I can recognize you.

Huge day for me today, the guy running the rink I skated at today taught me the basics of skating backwards...can't wait to practice about a thousand times and maybe even get ok-to-good at it.
