Weekend Wrap-Up OR Did the NHL Network hire old ESPN interns to write their graphics (the first cut is the deepest - for Correy Perry)?

I can't figure out why Vancouver is a bubble play-off team. I understand that there problem is they "don't have any scoring," but every time I watch them, their third liners put up awesome goals. Brad Isbister scored the game winner off a great no-look backhand pass from Alex Burrows. Ryan Kessler will be a 20 goal scorer this year (maybe). But I guess that shows their lack of scoring depth. In any case, I hope this team makes it deep into the playoffs just so I can keep listening to the video game guy.

NBC had another great game for their national telecast. Last weeks Philly/NY tilt was great and yesterday, both young stars were exceptional and actually had head-to-head shifts. However, if Sidney Crosby is mic'ed up, please give me more than his screams/grunts after he scores a goal. Seriously, this guy is the best player in the game and you can't edit me 5 minutes of him talking to his linemates or shouting to someone on the PP? Step it up, NBC.

Montreal followed Ottawa on their own Pacific division road trip and had to represent for the Eastern Conference. And they did, except for the Ducks. I wonder if I was the only who was thinking that more people would refer to that as a possible Stanley Cup match up?

Speaking of Ottawa, they finally won a game. It was against the Coyotes. Mueller had a sweet top shelf goal in that game.

Nemmy avoided watching all Bruin games this weekend. It worked on Saturday, as the Bruins came back with 2 goals on The 2 Man Advantage to beat the Caps. Unfortunately, they still couldn't score on 5-on-5, or 5-on-4, or in any other case.

The Islanders lost. I don't want to talk about it.
